MANDA ANA CINDRIC 1920 - 2007 It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of our dear mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother Manda Ana Cindric on November 10, 2007, at the age of 87 years old. Manda leaves to mourn her three children, Joso (Mare), Mile (Marija), and daughter Marica; her grandchildren, Neny (Michael), Milan, Katie (Tony), Ivan, Vera (Chris), Peter (Trisha); her great-grandchildren, Natasha, Alex, Dennis, and Carmen; as well as numerous relatives in Croatia and throughout the world. Manda was predeceased by her parents Joso and Ana Rakocija; brother Ico Rakocija; husband Pero Cindric; son Nikola; son-in-law Jure Cindric; and her beloved grandsons, Marijan, Josip, and Pero Cindric. Manda was born in Tatar Varus, Croatia, on March 31, 1920. In 1937, she married Pero Cindric. Together they had four children. Sadly their first born Nikola died at the age of seven months old. After the tragic death of her husband in 1945, Manda was left a young widow with her two sons, Joso and Mile and daughter Marica. She devoted her live to caring for and raising her children alone. Her greatest joy was her grandchildren and great-grandchildren and Baka was there to raise them all. Her strength and independence were an inspiration to all. She loved to garden and took great pride in her handiwork. Her beautiful crocheting can be found in many a households. Her strong faith has carried her throughout lives challenges. She will be sadly missed and forever remembered. We would like to thank doctors and staff at Seven Oaks Hospital. Pocivaj u mini Bozjemu nasa voljena Mama I Baka Prayers will be held on Friday November 16, 2007, at 7:00 p.m. at Cropo Funeral Chapel, 1442 Main Street.
